Honu is a first-person puzzle adventure set in a strange and beautiful new world.
You are stranded—but not alone.
Armed with a mysterious gauntlet that can alter the properties of objects—make them light, heavy, hot, cold—you must explore, experiment, and solve your way through ancient ruins and alien structures.
Lift, rotate, shift—reshape the world around you to move forward. With every challenge, your glove grows stronger.
With every answer, the world of Honu reveals a little more of its truth— and brings you closer to saving those still trapped within it.
Honu is the first long-term project of the official GameDev Team at the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg.
Over the course of three years, we’ve poured our ideas, skills, and experiments into building something ambitious and strange.
It started as a technical challenge—how far could we push a single mechanic?—and grew into a full world of puzzles, logic, and discovery.
This game taught us how to work as a team, how to iterate with purpose, and how to design with depth.
